We always go over to Jeff's parents house and have Christmas dinner. Mom makes us a really good dinner and we all have a good time eating and talking and the kids love playing with their big sister and their Uncles. The run around the house playing hide and seek and monster and they absolutely love it. It is so fun to watch them playing and having fun with their Uncles and sister.
We had a good time this year visiting, as usual, and the kids were very excited to open some of their presents. Blayke opened the first one and just sat and played with it the rest of the time. We had to open the other ones for him because he just wanted to play. He is very good and entertaining himself and he doesn't need much to have fun. A couple of cars with a little garage will hold him for at least on hour, or close to that.It was good to talk and to visit with family. We don't have much family here, just Jeff's mom and dad and his brother and it is good to see them when we can.
The kids had a great Christmas. They really enjoyed opening their presents and then were Nintendo DS zombies for pretty much the rest of Christmas Day and most of Christmas vacation.
I must admit that is was very nice to have a quite house and I was able to get stuff done. Blayke did not like that they did not want to play with him when he wanted, but he also thoroughly enjoyed playing in his room with his train set his grandma got him. We took the other crib out of his room and now he can play up there. He loves it. I have found him laying on his floor asleep by the train set a couple of times when he was supposed to be sleeping.
We all had a very good Christmas and hopefully some day soon we will finish setting up the Trampoline we got.
