Every year our neighborhood gets a visit from Santa. Santa drops by at a house in our neighborhood that is decorated and lighted beautifully and the kids get to tell him what they want for Christmas and then he gives them some cookies and a candy cane. The house he visits is all decked out in lights and the owners must really put a lot of effort into setting it up. The kids were excited to go talk to him and tell them what they wanted. Jacob told him he wanted a Nintendo DS with a Mario Game and the Piranha Panic game. Alyssa's wish was also for a Nintendo Ds and a Football Helmet. Santa and his helper really loved her request fot the football helmet. It was the most original thing they had heard all night.
I was worried that Blayke would cry, but he did not. He loved seeing the lights and when Jacob and Alyssa went up to talk to Santa, he went right up there with them. You could here him up there talking away trying to talk to Santa like his older brother and sister. He was not too keen on the idea of sitting on Santa's lap, but I did get a picture of him with Santa and Jacob and Alyssa.
I really enjoyed taking them there with Jeff, it is a fun little family tradition that we started when we moved here.
